五十嵐威暢の代表作をもとに制作されたアートポスターシリーズです。

五十嵐デザインを象徴するアクソノメトリック図法（平面に立体を描く技法）で表現された「JAZZ」の文字は、1970年代〜80年代にかけて、東京の日比谷野外音楽堂やよみうりランドなどの公園で開催されていたサマージャズフェスティバルのためのポスターとして発表されました。
パーソナルコンピューターが出現する以前、手描きで原稿を作成していた時代の作品です。
新鮮な魅力を放ち続ける独創的で洗練された造形は、半世紀を経た今も、国内外の多くのファンを魅了し続けています。

本シリーズは、貴重なオリジナル作品をもとに、メインのデザインを抜き出しA3版にリサイズしました。高精細美術印刷技法であるジークレー印刷を採用し、長期保存に適した品質を備えています。アルミニウム製の軽快なフレームとUVカットアクリルで額装し、箔押しが施されたオリジナル特製ペーパーボックス入りでお届けいたします。インテリアとして、またコレクションとして、お楽しみください。なお、本作品はオリジナル作品を忠実に再現しているため、原画や当時の印刷物に見られる色ムラや風合いがそのまま反映されている箇所があります。あらかじめご了承ください。

五十嵐威暢の生前の遺志に基づき、本シリーズは、作品および著作権を管理する北海道新十津川町の一般社団法人五十嵐威暢美術館かぜのびが制作しています。収益は同館の運営に充てられ、作品の保存・公開活動に活用されます。

This art poster series is based on representative works by Takenobu Igarashi.

The word “JAZZ,” rendered in axonometric projection—a method of depicting three-dimensional forms on a two-dimensional plane that is emblematic of Igarashi’s design—was originally created as a poster for summer jazz festivals held in parks such as Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall in Tokyo and Yomiuriland during the 1970s and 1980s.

Created in an era before the advent of personal computers, the original artwork was produced by hand.

Its original and refined forms continue to feel fresh and compelling, captivating many admirers in Japan and abroad even half a century later.

This series has been created from rare original works, with the main design extracted and resized to A3 format. It is printed using giclée, a high-resolution fine art printing technique, offering quality suitable for long-term preservation. Each poster is framed in a lightweight aluminum frame with UV-cut acrylic and is delivered in an original special paper box with foil stamping. It may be enjoyed as an interior piece or as part of a collection.

Please note that, as this work faithfully reproduces the original artwork, certain areas may reflect color variations and textures found in the original piece or in printed materials from that time. Thank you for your understanding.

In accordance with Takenobu Igarashi’s wishes during his lifetime, this series is produced by the Igarashi Takenobu Museum of Art Kazenobi, a general incorporated association in Shintotsukawa, Hokkaido, which manages his works and copyrights. Proceeds from the series support the operation of the museum and are used for the preservation and public presentation of his works.
